VISION

William M. Blackshear accepted his call into the Ministry in 2000. He now encourages and motivates others with his testimony and life-changing experiences.

God has worked in and through him to reach out to others. He is a member of New Beginnings Community Church of Mint Hill-Matthews, NC, in the Charlotte Metropolitan area. God has used this minister and his ministry to free him from many addictions. He has worked with the youth ministry since 2000. William has committed himself to making a change in the community with his 12 years experience that has allowed him to develop into a stronger individual, after dealing with the struggles of his life over 17 years ago. He is currently working with youth that have been abused and neglected in designated areas.

William has overcome many obstacles throughout his life. He has been delivered from anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, resentment and substance abuse. William has experienced death of a loved one, homelessness, as well, as being captured by gang life. God has truly kept William under His watchful will to deliver him from what was an attack of the enemy. William was determined to let go and let God, and give in to what was God’s plans and His purpose for him. William decided to live on purpose and give what we call “life” another chance.

William is currently a motivational speaker to the youth in the community. He is the founder of Project Restoration, Inc.: Restoring Hope, Love and Stability to the lost. He is also founder of Restoration Consulting where he has formed support groups for youth to open doors for a better tomorrow.

William has given his time, talent, and dedication to rebuilding the lives of teenage boys. He developed his passion for this cause through his work with the Sheriff's Department and McLeod Development Center.

He is proud to be able to use his past experience as a teaching resource to others on how to survive adversity. William is the proud father of Daeon Blackshear and knows the importance of a father-son relationship.

Above all, William loves the Lord and is grateful for access to the keys that God has promised which have allowed healing and peace within. Through the mist of it all, Williams stands firm on God‘s word.
